Riester's cardiophon 2.0 stethoscope has been specifically developed for cardiology helping you to perform auscultations of the heart.

Auscultations of the heart:

A stethoscope can be used to listen to the sounds the heart make as it contracts and relaxes. By listening to various locations within the area of the heart, a doctor can identify abnormalities such as murmurs, clicks or any irregular patterns. For a healthy adult, two sounds are expected from a heartbeat: a "lub" and a "dub", forming the familiar "lub-dub" sequence.
